Linking
Offices with Virtual Private Networks
We can deliver Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to
link your office networks securely over the Internet and to provide
email, Intranet, and other services running over your VPN.
Case Study:
Connecting a company's four offices securely across Internet
using Linux Firewall's and Virtual Private Networks.
Our
client, Green Marine, needed to securely link their four office
networks using a broadband Internet connection at each office.
Solution:
Redstone configured a Linux firewall and Virtual Private Network
gateway (VPN) in each office. The firewall and VPN tunnelling
software used were both Open Source and as sophisticated,
robust and secure as commercial software (costing many thousands
of pounds). Utilising this software and Linux, Redstone implemented
a very cost effective and secure VPN linking all four offices
via their broadband Internet connection. Users in each office
were able to access servers and services located in the other
offices as if they were all part of the same Local Area Network.
"Redstone
managed and implemented linking our four offices using ADSL,
firewalls and VPNs. They also brought in-house our Email
services. They managed the transfer of our domain, configured
our email server and located it in a De-Militarised Zone (DMZ).
We enjoyed a seamless transition with no significant downtime
and enjoyed a very professional level of service throughout.
I have no hesitation in recommending Redstone..."
